The Codex of Saint James’, organized by Turismo de Galicia in collaboration with the University of Santiago de Compostela, has already received more than 5,000 visitors. This show was put together to support the bid for inclusion of the Codex Calixtinus in the UNESCO Memory of the World Register.

The promotional and educational exhibition will be on public display at the University of Santiago de Compostela until 3 November, after travelling to several other European and Spanish cities.

It features texts, photographs, a facsimile of the document and original pieces, as well as audiovisual recreations based on information from Book V of the codex, incorporating contemporary creativity into the project.

The exhibition is open Monday to Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 to 8:30 p.m.
